1. Scope

These terms govern your use of 1,001 Words and account registration.

2. Account

You are responsible for accurate registration data and for keeping your login credentials confidential.

3. Use of the service

You may use the service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the service for illegal content or to violate third-party rights.

4. Premium subscription (Club Member)

The Club Member plan is a paid monthly subscription. A 14-day free trial is available for new subscribers. If you cancel, access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier. Payments are processed by Stripe.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice. Price changes do not affect existing billing periods.

5. Availability and changes

The service can be changed, restricted, or discontinued where necessary for technical, security, or legal reasons.

6. Liability

Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected. Otherwise, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, unless stricter liability is required by law.

7. Privacy and legal notice

Details on data processing are provided in the Privacy Policy. Provider information is available in the Legal Notice.

8. Optional marketing updates

Any consent to receive product updates about NovelSprint is optional and not required for account creation.

9. Applicable law

German law applies, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
